SMS Messaging & Consent Policy

How end-user consent for text messaging is collected, recorded, and honored across the local businesses we serve.

Last updated: July 27, 2026

How consent is obtained

End-users consent to receive messages when booking a service or completing a customer intake form (either online or via digital invoice) with our local business clients.

Opt-in language

The web form includes an explicit, clear, and un-checked opt-in box positioned next to the submit button that states:

“I agree to receive SMS communications from [Business Name] regarding my appointments, service updates, and post-service feedback. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out.”

How consent is recorded

This explicit consent is recorded in the business’s CRM and passed to our platform via API. Consent is never bundled with other agreements. Our agency privacy policy and terms of service can be found here: https://getgrowen.com/privacy.

Sharing of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and messaging delivery, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
